Handoff early-access privacy notice
Handoff is an experimental product by DevWeb Studio. This notice covers the information you submit through the Handoff early-access form.
What we collect
Your email address, and anything you choose to add: your role, how often client handoffs are a problem, and a description of that problem.
Whether you opted in to general DevWeb Studio updates.
Where you came from, if known — the referring website and any campaign tags in the link you followed (for example utm_source). We do not store your IP address; a one-way hash of it is kept for up to one hour to limit repeated submissions.
How we use it
To contact you about Handoff — early access, product updates, and occasional research questions.
To decide whether and how to build Handoff, using your answers in aggregate.
If — and only if — you tick the optional box, to send occasional news about other DevWeb Studio work.
Where it's stored
Signups are stored in a hosted database (Upstash) and the site runs on Vercel. A copy of each signup is emailed to our team inbox through Resend. We don't sell or share your information with anyone else.
Site visits are measured with Vercel Web Analytics, which does not use cookies.
Your choices
Every email we send will include a way to unsubscribe. To see, correct, or delete what we hold about you, email contact@devwebstudio.co and we'll handle it promptly. If Handoff doesn't move forward, we'll delete the signup list.
